A letter from the Chief Designer
Hello, and welcome to ZulooWeb! I'm Connor Hicks, the Chief Designer and founder of ZulooWeb. Over time we have risen to become one of the leading website design and photography firms in Canberra, Australia and we're still expanding our horizons!
Many small businesses often ask me why they would need a website and how it can make a difference to their business. The reason the internet is such an important marketing tool for small business is the fact that over 1,802,330,000 people world-wide are connected to the internet, so by having your own space on the World Wide Web there is potential for your market to become global. In my opinion, the internet is the second best form of advertising, beaten only by word of mouth.
If your business isn't online yet, you are almost certainly missing out on customers. When used correctly, the internet can expose your products or services in a whole new light to a whole new market that you probably didn't even know was there!
The benefit of a ZulooWeb designed website is that you can update it yourself. Often websites will be designed in strings of meaningless code which are practically uneditable. But ZulooWeb sites feature what we call a Content Management System, or a CMS. A CMS is essentially an administration backend for your site which allows you to update it and always have complete control of the website content.
